Day 14 - Never Forget to Love, Honor and Fear The Lord

(Deut. 8:1 – Deut.23:11)

Deut. 8:6 (NKJV)

⁶ “Therefore you shall keep the commandments of the LORD your God, to walk in His ways and to fear Him.

Deut. 10:12-13 (NKJV)

¹² “And now, Israel, what does the LORD your God require of you, but to fear the LORD your God, to walk in all His ways and to love Him, to serve the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul, ¹³ and to keep the commandments of the LORD and His statutes which I command you today for your good?

Deut. 11:1 (NKJV)

 ¹ “Therefore you shall love the LORD your God, and keep His charge, His statutes, His judgments, and His commandments always.

Deut. 11:13-14 (NKJV)

¹³ ‘And it shall be that if you earnestly obey My commandments which I command you today, to love the LORD your God and serve Him with all your heart and with all your soul, ¹⁴ then I will give you the rain for your land in its season, the early rain and the latter rain, that you may gather in your grain, your new wine, and your oil.

Over and over again we are reminded of the simply request to love and honor the Lord. Love being the greatest of all the commands. Where are you in your relationship with the Lord? Do you spend time with him each and every day? Are you making him first and foremost in all you do?
